I have OCIO configured with a global env variable in my pc, this helps Houdini, Redshift and any other software I install to automatically use OCIO to work with ACES colorspace
When it comes to Blender, Most Blender resources like ready made assets online are all not configured for ACES so most of the time I have to convert texture colorspaces to make it work, its quite annoying, simply i dont want to use ACES and work with Filmic as a blender Hobbyst so the solution is to override the env just for Blender.
Here is how I do it
Create a .bat file with this code and launch blender from this
@echo off
rem Launch Blender without OCIO environment variable
set OCIO=
"C:/Program Files/Blender Foundation/Blender 4.0/blender.exe"
boujou to houdini -> fbx -> start index 1001
houdini to blender > abc
in blender set framerate before importing the camera
Blender backplate settings
Image sequence will work
set to image > image sequence
set the `frames` > total number of frames
set the start to 1001
and offset to 1000
this will make the backplate play properly
